A short and comprensive tutorial on how to test Sirio Finance Public Testnet Version.

Introduction

This short and comprensive tutorial allows you to get comfortable with Sirio Finance last Testnet version before the Mainnet Launch. If you already used the Testnet and you're already comfortable with Hedera Testnet, you can skip the whole tutorial and head to the app here: https://testnet.sirio.finance/

Wallet Setup

Make sure you have at least one wallet on the Hedera Testnet with some HBAR tokens. If you don't have one yet, we recommend following these steps:

  1. Go to Hedera Portal, create an account, and copy the 'DER Encoded Private Key' field.

  2. Install the Hashpack/Metamask/Kabila extension and open it.

  3. Import a new account (make sure to check the Testnet Account checkbox) and import an account using the Private Key. Paste the previously copied value and create the account.

If you already have a testnet wallet, you can simply get new HBAR Tokens here.

dApp Configuration

After setting up your wallet, you can finally visit the dApp for the first time at this URL: https://testnet.sirio.finance by following these steps:

  1. Go to the indicated URL.

  2. Connect to the dApp by clicking the 'Connect Wallet' button in the top right corner.

You can finally use the Sirio dApp for the first time! For a more detailed tutorial on how to complete these steps, you can find a video tutorial showing each step here

Associate & Get Tokens

There are two ways to associate tokens:

  1. You can do it directly from the dApp. Simply connect your account and click on any token you want to associate. When you hover over the token, a message saying 'Click here to associate token' will appear. Just click on it and confirm the transaction in your wallet. For an accurate video tutorial, you can visit this page.

  2. You can associate the token directly from your Hashpack wallet. Just click on the 'Add Token' button, enter the token's address, and execute the transaction. Below is a table with all the token addresses.

After associating the token you want to test, you can get it immediately by swapping some of your Testnet HBAR directly from the Liquidity Pool on the Testnet Version of Saucerswap:

  1. Select HBAR as the starting token

  2. Enter the address of the token you want to get (you can find a table with the addresses below this paragraph)

  3. Perform the swap

Here an image of how to swap the tokens on Saucerswap:

PS. We recommend swapping only a few dozen HBARs, as the tokens have low liquidity.

Here a table containing every token and its respective ID:
